The Team
The Children and Young Persons’ Program (CHYPP) provide specialist counselling and support to children, young people and their families who have experienced family violence. You will join a committed, multidisciplinary team working collaboratively across statewide services.
The Role
This leadership role coordinates and delivers specialist services to children and young people affected by family violence, while providing daytoday leadership and supervision to a professional team, including Family Violence Counsellors.
The role would suit qualified Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists or Counsellors who has experience in leadership or senior clinical roles working with children and young people.
The Team Leader plays a key role in ensuring highquality, traumainformed practice, driving continuous quality improvement, and strengthening collaboration across teams and partner services.
In the role of Team Leader - Children and Young Persons Program
- Provide leadership, supervision and professional support to multidisciplinary clinicians
- Coordinate specialist counselling and support services for children and young people
- Monitor workflow, service demand and performance
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and support bestpractice service delivery
- Collaborate with statewide teams, internal services and external partners
- Contribute to the development and implementation of interventions and programs

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances:
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.

Requirements
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia and Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia; or
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is a full member of AASW or is eligible for membership with the AASW
- Current Working with Children Registration
