How often will I be required to travel?
This role includes regular outreach travel across the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area (NPA) regions as part of the Early Childhood Approach (ECA) Program.

The outreach team currently aims to avoid travel during school holiday periods where possible, recognising the importance of work/life balance and personal commitments for staff. We understand that frequent travel can be both rewarding and demanding, and the team works hard to support sustainable outreach practices.
That said, outreach schedules are responsive to community and service needs and may change at times depending on operational requirements.
