Remuneration package up to $132,513 p.a. + benefits (HP3)

Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Physiotherapist to join the Rural Allied Health Western Hub based in Charters Towers. This temporary full-time opportunity offers the chance to be a key member of a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services across hospital, aged care, and community settings.
Work across Eventide Aged Care Facility, Charters Towers Hospital, and the broader community, with outreach to Hughenden and Richmond Hospitals.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and demonstrate your skills across a varied inpatient and outpatient caseload, spanning a wide range of ages and clinical presentations.
About the role
You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy services, including assessment, diagnosis, and individualised treatment plans to optimise patient outcomes. You will manage and prioritise your caseload effectively within established clinical protocols, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
As your experience develops, you will have the opportunity to exercise increasing clinical judgement in more complex cases, supported by senior clinicians. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in professional development, and assist in the supervision of assistants and students.
About you
You are a motivated Physiotherapist with strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to patient-centred care. You are able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
You will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current (or eligible) AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to deliver safe and effective physiotherapy services
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A willingness to travel for outreach services (Class C licence required)
