Central Queensland Health is looking for a Physiotherapist Director (HP6) who is ready to step into a high-impact professional lead role. This is a heavyweight leadership position where you serve as the professional link to the Directors of Physiotherapy Services Queensland (DOPSQ). You will have the autonomy to design clinical governance frameworks, manage a $3.8M annual budget, and lead a dedicated team of 33.48 FTE. About You:
- You hold a degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
- You possess expert clinical knowledge and the ability to resolve complex service challenges while promoting culturally safe care.
- You are a strategic leader capable of managing large, diverse teams and holding staff accountable to governance standards.
- You have highly developed negotiation and communication skills to advocate for resources and build productive partnerships.
- You are committed to quality improvement, embedding evidence-based practices, and evaluating policies to enhance service delivery.
- You have a proven ability to foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture using contemporary HR practices.
