Description

40 hrs/wk; We are seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. This role consists of 40 hours per week, with one position available. The schedule mainly consists of: 12:00 - 8:30 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM and with occasional overnight from 8:30 PM to7:00 AM. The position requires working every third weekend evening and two overnight holidays per year.  Draw blood from patients of all ages by technique relevant to age; process sample, use computer for test ordering and look up. Answer phone, take orders, problem solve and other duties as assigned. Operate point of care devices. Be able to work in a high stressed job. Critical thinking skills needed. HS/GED required. Medical knowledge preferred. Will train for phlebotomy.
