PGY1 preliminary resident
The Jefferson Abington Hospital General Surgery Residency Program in Abington, Pennsylvania, has an opening for one preliminary PGY-1 position beginning immediately. Jefferson Abington Hospital is a 675-bed teaching hospital and is located 5 miles north of Center City Philadelphia. The General Surgery Residency Program sponsors 31 residents and graduates 5 Chief Residents per year.

USMLE Steps I, II scores (minimum score requirement is 230 or above on Step II)
Brief personal statement
3 current letters of recommendation, 2 must be from US physicians
Medical school diploma and transcript
Dean’s letter
ECFMG certificate, if applicable
