The Program:
Northside Hospital Heart Institute (NHH) continues to expand our expert surgical team to bring Georgians state-of-the-art cardiac care that sets the benchmark for clinical excellence. With over 100 years of combined cardiothoracic surgical experience, our team of surgeons provides comprehensive care with exceptional outcomes. Patients experience compassionate care from a team of devoted and specialized cardiac care professionals who are skilled in treating the full spectrum of heart disease.
Moreover, our cardiac surgery program has earned a distinguished three-star rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons in two key surgical procedures: the highest quality rating in-patient care and quality outcomes for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), also known as open-heart surgery, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
The Opportunity:
- Team currently consists of four cardiothoracic surgeons and 10+ APPs
- Full range of cardiothoracic procedures included: CABG, AVR, MVR, Robotic Heart surgery, MitraClip surgery, TAVR, etc.
- At NHHI, you’ll join a comprehensive team that includes more than 100 cardiologists, vascular surgeons and cardiac surgeons across 55+ locations in metro Atlanta and north Georgia, delivering care at five hospital campuses.

Requirements
Requirements
- Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Board certified/board eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Current Georgia Medical licensure or ability to obtain an unrestricted Georgia license
