Summary:
The Division of Congenital Heart Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our growing and nationally recognized program in Houston, Texas.

Our multidisciplinary team specializes in both pediatric and adult congenital heart disease, providing personalized, lifelong care. Patients have access to a full spectrum of pediatric and adult services—including advanced noninvasive imaging, arrhythmia management, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, surgery, mental and behavioral health services, and a comprehensive wellness program.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide comprehensive surgical care for neonates, children, and adults with congenital heart disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in the Division's congenital heart surgery call schedule, including transplant and mechanical circulatory support services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes across a broad range of congenital heart conditions.
- Contribute to the academic mission through clinical research, quality initiatives, scholarly activity, and publication.
- Educate and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support program growth through engagement with referring physicians, outreach efforts, and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrate clinical leadership while fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.
- Board certified or board eligible in Thoracic Surgery/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted Texas medical license.
