Key Responsibilities:
Execute top-notch medical procedures with the precision of a surgeon and the heart of a pet lover.
Master the art of keeping a straight face while administering belly rubs and head pats to patients and provide superior customer service
Coordinate with our dynamic veterinary team to ensure gold standards of patient care and client satisfaction through collaboration
Provide expert advice on the best methods for convincing stubborn cats to take their medication in addition to being the expert educator to our community for all veterinary medicine related topics.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited university (because capes are optional, but licenses are not).
Possess the patience of a saint and the energy of a puppy.
Exceptional communication skills and a flair for creating positive client experiences.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment without losing that superhero smile.
A passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of the curve in veterinary medicine.
Schedule:
Four shifts weekly from 8am to 6pm, and a rotating schedule of one Saturday per month from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Four shifts/weekly even on the weeks where you work Saturday!)
We do not require or offer any on-call and/or emergency shifts.

In addition to your base salary and potential bonuses, SMS Veterinary Partners, LLC, provides an additional ~$8,000.00* in total compensation, including employer-paid benefits.
Medical – Dental – Vision Plans: With multiple different health plan options, employees can elect coverage that best fits their unique needs. All medical coverage options include access to 24/7 telemedicine providers, registered nurses, condition management programs, and wellness resources through selected providers. The company pays $300.00/month towards employee medical healthcare coverage.
Paid Holidays: The Company currently observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (half-day), and Christmas Day
Paid Time Off: 12 days PTO allowance to promote work-life harmony with subsequent unlimited, pre-approved unpaid time off
Training and Development: CE allowance $1500 annually
Retirement: SMS Veterinary Partners, LLC, offers an optional Individual Retirement Account (IRA) plan to help you plan for your future. The Company provides a 3% match to employee contributions.
AVMA PLIT Professional Liability Insurance ($250 annually)
Kansas Veterinary License Renewal ($100 annually)
DEA registration ($888 every 3 years)
AVMA Membership ($350 annually)
KCVMA Membership ($100 annually)
