Labor Relations Administrator

The New York County DA’s Office is seeking a Labor Relations Administrator, who under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Assist with the administration of all Human Resources Polices and Procedures and provide guidance to line management and employees and recommends policy changes to the Director of Human Resources.
• Administers and interprets various labor agreements, administers grievance procedures; provides labor relations support during contract negotiations; acts as a liaison between department managers and union representatives; provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws.
• Ensure that all cases are properly documented; responsible for issuing complete reports and recommendations for appropriate action to management.
• Administers the Performance Management Program.
• Attend Union conferences; counsel employees on performance, attendance, and time and leave issues.
• Perform related duties as assigned by management.
