MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is opening a brand-new, stand-alone pediatric specialty hospital in Tacoma in May 2026, and we are expanding our Pediatric Operating Room team.
As Washington’s only pediatric hospital serving the South Sound region and state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, Mary Bridge provides comprehensive surgical care designed exclusively for infants, children and adolescents. Our new hospital campus features eight purpose-built pediatric operating rooms, advanced surgical technology, and a collaborative perioperative environment focused entirely on family-centered care. Our team supports the full spectrum of pediatric surgical specialties, providing comprehensive care for children across a wide range of complex and routine procedures.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing pediatric OR team and help shape surgical practice in a new, state-of-the-art facility.
The Opportunity
We are seeking day and night shift OR RNs to support our expanding pediatric surgical services.
You will:
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
- Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- Current BLS Certification required
- ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department
- Certification in specialty area preferred
- One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $46.80 - $90.30 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
