Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator at Riley Children's Health!

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator to support our Riley Maternity Services unit. This role offers a flexible work schedule, with four 10-hour shifts allowing for a hybrid-remote setup (two days in the office and two days virtual, based on business needs).

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate care for assigned patients and develop comprehensive care plans that manage the delivery of services across the healthcare continuum.
- Partner with patients and their primary physicians to create customized care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Oversee care for fetal interventions and initiate appropriate post-operative follow-up scan schedules while providing follow-up calls to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health professionals to ensure timely delivery of appropriate tests and treatments.
- Advocate for patients, balancing care needs with financial considerations to facilitate efficient and effective treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Obstetrics experience preferred.
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Specialty certifications may be required per unit/department specialty in accordance with the department provision of care.
- Requires knowledge of personal computers using various types of word processing and database software.
- Requires clinical work experience, medical terminology.
- Requires understanding of medical record requirements, regulations and policies.
