Position Summary
Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking a strategic and analytical HR professional to lead workforce planning, compensation strategy, and HR systems oversight. This role plays a critical part in forecasting future staffing needs, ensuring competitive and compliant compensation practices, and maintaining highquality human resources information systems that support organizational performance and longterm planning.
Workforce Planning & Organizational Strategy
Forecast future staffing needs across the organization.
Analyze workforce demographics and required skill sets to identify gaps.
Partner in developing strategies that support organizational performance, planning, and strategic initiatives.
Oversee the position request and approval process.
Compensation Strategy & Governance
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of a comprehensive compensation program.
Anticipate future compensation challenges and design innovative, scalable solutions.
Present compelling, datadriven proposals to executive leadership to ensure alignment with compensation philosophy and financial parameters.
Ensure compensation program design complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage the filing of required legal and regulatory statements and reports.
HR Systems Leadership
Oversee the operation and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS).
Drive continuous quality improvement and ensure data integrity.
Provide leadership in the development and enhancement of HR systems and processes.
Job Details
This role offers hybrid flexibility; however, candidates should expect a regular onsite presence as determined by management.
Requirements
Education
College Degree – 4year in Business, Human Resources, or related field (required)
Licenses and Certifications
CCOMP – Certified Compensation Professional (preferred)
PHR – Professional in Human Resources (preferred) or
SPHR – Senior Professional in Human Resources (preferred)
Work Experience
Minimum five (5) years related experience in compensation and/or workforce planning (required)
Minimum three (3) years HRIS experience (required)
Minimum five (5) years increasingly responsible experience (required)

Statistical analysis skills
Experience with human resource information systems
Knowledge of California and federal wage & hour regulations (e.g., FLSA, Wage & Hour)
