Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking to recruit a biostatistician focused on clinical and translational investigation of kidney disease as part of the Leaf Lab led by Dr. David Leaf, with laboratory space located at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. A background in acute kidney injury research, target trial emulation (TTE) methodology, and risk modelling is required, including statistical expertise (survival, fixed/mixed-effects, GLMM, imputation of missing data) and experience coding in R. The candidate should have a track record of working in a multi-disciplinary team. First or co-authorship in AKI- or TTE-related areas of research in high-impact peer-reviewed journals is ideal. We seek a junior faculty member who will grow their own program, but also interact and collaborate with other members of the Division.
Appointment as an Instructor or Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will have a PhD, MD, or MD-PhD.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions or any other characteristic protected by law.
