Holland Bloorview is seeking a Full TIme Certified Prosthetist or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist
This is a regular full-time position (1.0 FTE or 37.5 hours per week). The position of Certified Prosthetist is aligned to Salary Band F ($40.69-$50.86/hour). The position of Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist is aligned to Salary Band G ($45.95-$57.42/hour).
The Orthotic and Prosthetic department provides services to pediatric and adult clients who require prosthetic and orthotic devices to improve their mobility, function and independence. As a Certified Prosthetist or Prosthetist Orthotist at Holland Bloorview, you will be primarily responsible for providing comprehensive prosthetic care to children, youth, and adults. This role requires expertise in assessing, designing, fabricating, fitting, and maintaining custom prosthetic devices to help maximize function and mobility for patients. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure client-centered, goal-directed, and evidence-based care.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certified Prosthetist or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist with the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO) and Orthotics Prosthetics Canada
- A minimum of two years of experience
- Strong knowledge and skills in assessing, designing, fabricating, fitting, and adjusting prosthetic devices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and supporting the rehabilitation process for children and youth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pediatric prosthetic care.
- Advanced training or certifications in specific areas of prosthetics.
- Working knowledge of digital technology processes.
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
