Vista Animal Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, privately-owned (non-corporate) hospital in Erie, Colorado, conveniently located between Boulder and Denver. Our practice is committed to high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine and provides a supportive, collaborative environment for doctors and staff.

Position Overview
This is a full-time veterinarian position in a busy, well-established general practice focused on companion animals. We have a very solid client base that respects our recommendations and values preventative care. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, client communication, and teamwork. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
Tentative Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday | 8AM to 6PM | 3 hours midday for lunch and case work.
- One Saturday per month | 9AM–2PM | Wellness appointments only
We believe in letting doctors be DOCTORS. 2 technicians are assigned to every room doctor, 3-4 techs for every surgeon, 1 float technician, and 3 CSRs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive small animal medical care
- Perform wellness exams, sick visits, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Perform routine and elective soft tissue surgeries (based on experience and comfort level)
- Communicate clearly with clients and provide excellent client education
- Collaborate with a highly trained veterinary technicians and support staff
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Colorado
- Active or eligible for DEA License
- Active or eligible USDA accreditation.
- Interest in Fear-Free handling and low-stress patient care
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $115,000–$170,000 annually
Pro-Sal with no negative accrual
