Academic Neurologist, Movement Disorders -Worcester, MA
The Department of Neurology at the UMass Chan Medical School is recruiting an Academic Movement Disorders clinician. This individual will have the opportunity to be a part of patient-centered comprehensive Movement Disorders program with an established and collegial movement disorders group consisting of 4 MDs and an NP who specializes in DBS programming. The clinician will have the option of participating in DBS planning during monthly interdisciplinary meetings with neurosurgery and neuropsychology, DBS programming and injecting in botulinum toxin clinic. There is opportunity to work with trainees and medical students throughout the year both in inpatient and outpatient settings.
This position entails a faculty appointment at UMass Chan, which affords exceptional opportunities for professional development and promotion, and membership in the medical staff at the UMass Memorial Health, a large, integrated health system (UMMH). The Neurology Department is committed to integrating the outstanding academic and clinical programs through multiple activities including teaching, comprehensive in-patient and outpatient services, an active neuroICU, and a large referral base throughout New England.

- M.D. or D.O Degree
